2023 Family Scholarships (International) At the University of Adelaide

2023 Family Scholarships (International).   The Family Scholarship is a scholarship program offered by the University of Adelaide for incoming international students starting in the academic year 2023 who are spouses or close relatives an existing University of Adelaide students or alumni.

This scholarship is:

  • Available for commencing students.
  • Available for two or more students from the same family who are commencing during the same intake of study
  • Available for commencing direct-entry international undergraduate and postgraduate coursework students, including those who are required to undertake a Pre-Enrolment English Program (PEP) before their degree commencement;
  • Open to citizens of any country (except Australia and New Zealand); and
  • Provides a waiver of 25% of the annual tuition fee for each year of the program for the full duration of the degree.

Value

The scholarship provides a 25% tuition fee discount for the minimum required full-time study period of the scholar’s selected undergraduate or graduate degree.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship you must:

  • Have a University of Adelaide offer of admission (full offer or conditional offer) as a full-fee-paying international student;
  • Enrolls in a full-time study load for each study period of your degree;
  • Complete the acceptance process as outlined in your offer of admission.

Note:

Applicants who are eligible for more than one scholarship offered by the University of Adelaide will only be entitled to receive one scholarship (the highest-value scholarship award that they are eligible for).

Exclusions

The following applicants are not eligible to receive these scholarships:

  • Students who are recipients of a scholarship covering tuition fees awarded by a recognized scholarship awarding body such as a government ministry or department
  • Applicants for Master by Research or Ph.D. programs;
  • Applicants for certain programs; see the scholarship terms and conditions for a list of excluded degrees.

Terms and conditions

These scholarships are not available to the following applicants:

  • Students who are transferring from one program to another due to successful completion of their program of study (internal transfers);
  • Students who are recipients of a scholarship covering tuition fees awarded by a recognized scholarship awarding body such as a government ministry or department;
  • Applicants for Master by Research or Ph.D. programs
  • Applicants for certain programs; see the scholarship terms and conditions for a list of excluded degree programs.

How to apply

Applicants must have received an offer of admission from the University before lodging their scholarship application (applicants with a conditional offer may apply, but will need to accept and meet the conditions of their offer before a scholarship can be confirmed).

Note:  Those who submit incorrect or incomplete scholarship applications will not be considered for a scholarship.

Closing dates

Scholarships are available throughout the year, but candidates are advised to complete the admissions procedure as soon as possible to give themselves time to apply for a visa and get ready for their studies.

Applications are due by the last day to enroll online for the relevant intake period.
